The museum will accept museum interns as follows

| How to apply | Please make sure to send your application by mail together with the university. Limited to 3 students per university. Applications from the trainees themselves will not be accepted. Open to seniors who have already earned credits for museum-related courses other than practical training. |
| necessary documents | Please mail the following items (1) Request letter from the President of the University to Masahiro Gokouji, Director of Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art (Please include the telephone number, e-mail address, and name of the person in charge at the Educational Affairs Section) (2) Survey form for trainees (If there is no prescribed form, a resume is acceptable. Please also include your e-mail address as contact information) (3) Response form (please specify the name, affiliation and training period of the trainee) |
| report card | The evaluation items on the transcript should be prepared by each university. After evaluation by the museum, the materials will be sent to the university. |
| Other | Those who are tardy or absent during the practical training period may have their practical training cancelled. In the event of an accident, etc., the applicant and his/her university will be held responsible for the accident. No practical training fee or gratuity is required. |
