3. implementation overview

This year, all schools that requested tours were accepted. There were two schools whose tour dates coincided with the museum's temporary closure due to inclement weather, but both tours were held on the alternate days. Schools were allowed to stay at the museum for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, of which about 1 hour was allocated for group activities such as viewing the exhibits. The students toured the museum in groups, sharing their impressions and opinions with other students in the same group and guide staff, and deepening their individual ideas. In the Collection Exhibition Room, they viewed the museum's collection, including Collection I "Special Feature: Ryo Hirano, 30 years after his death", Collection II "Special Feature: Expanding Imagination", guest room007 Takeshi Tanaka "Flowers that will never wither", Collection III "Special Feature: Ukiyoe in Edo", and the small exhibition "Kazuo Matsuno Natsukashii Keikan (Nostalgic Scenery)".
