Eiko Ishioka asks.
Is there an "I" in that job?

Ten years after her death, Eiko Ishioka (1938-2012) is once again attracting attention in Japan and abroad. Eiko Ishioka (1938-2012) was a globally active designer whose work transcended genres of expression such as advertising, stage, and film, as well as national borders. This exhibition features over 400 of her works from the 1960s to the 1980s, when she was based in Tokyo, including posters, commercials, artwork, and sketches that caused a sensation. What is important for an artist is to cultivate "true self power. In other words, to refine the "I". With this belief in mind, Eiko continued her creative journey to create innovative visuals. with top runners in diverse fields such as photography, video, and illustration.collaborative workcollaborationwhile overlapping the "I" and the "I". This exhibition explores the "I" that is at the core of Eiko Ishioka's creations. Experience the timeless vitality of design in the visuals that still radiate passion and in Eiko's own words. This is not a retrospective exhibition. Eiko Ishioka is here.
