Toward the Museum's 50th Anniversary
Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art establishes "Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art Partners" as a new organization of Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art friends.
The Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art Friendship Association is looking for partners who will work together with the museum to "promote local art and art" and "foster the next generation through art education.
Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art would like to ask for your support.

*The Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art Friendship Association has "General, Pair and Special" memberships in addition to the "Museum Partners" membership.
This is also a very economical system, mainly offering discounts on exhibition admission fees, so that members can become more familiar with art and art.

(1) Establishment of "Museum Partners Membership and Award Boxes
To honor the members of the "Art Museum Partners," which was established in April 2023, an "Award Box" is located in the Museum Shop at the entrance of the City Art Museum's Main Wing. The box is a popular stop for many visitors to the museum, and the backlight brightly illuminates a vase with the name of the member engraved on it, making the box stand out from the crowd. We hope you will take a look at it when you have a chance to visit the museum.
In order to honor our museum partners from April 2025, digital signage has been installed next to the entrance of the Special Exhibition Hall at the entrance of the main building to introduce the companies and to develop individual company pages throughout the day.
(2) "Kids & Youth Day" .
During summer vacation8month13On Monday, March 1, 2012, the museum held a special "Kids & Youth Day" on Monday, a day when the museum is normally closed, to allow students from elementary school to university age to visit the special exhibitions and collection exhibitions free of charge. Visitors with small children, including those in strollers, are welcome, and the event is popular among service workers who have difficulty taking weekends and national holidays. Visitors also enjoyed a performance by a marimba on a brass instrument and commentary on the instrument at a music event held in conjunction with the event. Visitors were mainly families with elementary school children.180The number of visitors was very high. The event was very crowded with many visitors.1It was a day.
We distributed flyers about this event to all students in elementary and junior high schools in the city, and the names of the companies and organizations of the Museum Partners were clearly listed as "sponsors" on the flyer.
The 2025 event is scheduled for Saturday, October 11. We look forward to welcoming many visitors!
(iii) "Evening Concert" .

In order to make the museum more accessible and more familiar to as many people as possible, we held a special nighttime opening of the museum as a commemorative concert with the sponsorship of Museum Partners. The concert was sponsored by Wagaku Keimei, a non-profit organization that promotes the spread and cultivation of Japanese instruments and traditional music.(Japanese political alignment with the LDP)The ceremony was a great success, with the sounds of the "Koto" (the Japanese alphabet) echoing through the entrance hall.
